Location: Office based - Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: £27K
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5
Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant duties:
- Process purchase invoices and prepare the monthly payment run
- Assist with the annual year-end statutory audit
- Support with bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to‑date supplier records
- Assist with analysing the management accounts
- Raise and control the issue of purchase orders
Skills and experience:
- Experience working in a similar Assistant Accountant or Finance Assistant type role
- Be AAT qualified or an ACCA / CIMA studier - keen to study
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
