Location: Central Guildford (Fully on-site)

Contract Length: 4 - 6 months

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm

Salary: Β£45,000 (Β£23.07 per hour)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading, international organisation at their Guildford office to provide on-site technical support. This contract role will support the existing IT team during a period of increased workload, providing hands-on user support while assisting with the maintenance and administration of local IT infrastructure.

This is a hands on role supporting a busy team with a range of IT issues. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in an on-site setting, liaising with users in person, troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of issues.

Key responsibilities include;
/n
/n
- Provide on-site IT support to users, resolving hardware, software and infrastructure-related issues
/n
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to desktops, laptops, peripherals, software applications and user access
/n
- Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, equipment provisioning and access management
/n
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software
/n
- Manage IT assets, inventory tracking and equipment lifecycle processes
/n
- Assist with the coordination and maintenance of local IT infrastructure
/n
- Assist with testing and deployment of system changes and releases
/n
- Provide remote support to users when required
/n

/n
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in an on-site IT support role, with strong experience supporting Windows desktop environments. You will enjoy solving technical problems and working closely with users in person.
