Morgan McKinley is partnering with a global business based in Bristol to recruit a Group Financial Controller.

The Role

Working on a hybrid basis, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing £300m business in a pivotal role, and will require excellent technical management accounting skills and strong leadership capability.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Monthly and year end consolidation of global management accounts
  • Group compliance including preparation of various statutory accounts and supporting with key audits
  • Business Partner to the Finance Director and other key stakeholders
  • Leadership and development of a finance team of 5
  • Oversight of financial accounting team
  • Preparation of partnership accounts, including assisting with self assessment tax and dividend declarations
  • Support and delivery of finance projects and system implementation

The Person

To be considered for this role you will need to be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience of managing group accounts with multiple legal entities. Ideally you will have experience or an understanding of LLP accounting and some exposure to partnership accounting, and you will be highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced, global, multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
