A global mobility tax team in a Top 50 Practice located in Reading is recruiting for a Tax Associate or Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing team This team of c.5 people advise a wide variety of corporate clients, as well as supporting international Private Clients. As an Expatriate Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll be involved in: Advising corporates on assignment moves including UK tax and social security implications, impact on UK payroll, contacting overseas offices to manage the host country implications Conducting arrival and departure briefings for individuals leaving or coming to the UK Reviewing the tax implications of personal income and gains as well as corporate structures and temporary non-resident rules Managing the income tax return process for a portfolio of clients Dealing with ad hoc queries from clients Managing other requests such as non-resident capital gains tax returns, A1 applications, certificates of residence Technical research and preparation of letters/reports Ideally you will hold a qualification such as ATT, ACCA or CTA (or be actively studying) and be able to demonstrate experience in the above responsibilities.
