We’re partnering with one of the big leading tech companies to hire an Events Coordinator on an initial 3-month contract basis. The role is based in London with hybrid working, requiring onsite presence Tuesday to Thursday, alongside occasional travel across the UK and Europe.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in coordinating the operational delivery of approximately 17 events across multiple European locations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring event logistics, communications, registrations, and internal coordination are delivered to an exceptionally high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Support end-to-end event planning and logistics coordination across EMEA
- Track milestones, timelines, approvals, and event documentation
- Coordinate speaker rehearsals, catering, venue requirements, and security requests
- Manage attendee registrations and respond to event enquiries
- Support event promotion activity and publishing via internal event platforms
- Monitor travel bookings and budget alignment for internal teams
- Liaise with venues, AV teams, facilities, and external suppliers
- Support onsite setup and registration operations
- Prepare attendee and staff materials including badges and event assets
- Provide hands-on support to speakers, attendees, and internal teams throughout events
- Assist with event breakdown and post-event logistics
- Capture attendance data and support post-event reporting
- Assist with debrief sessions and action tracking
- Support monthly reporting around attendee engagement and event outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience coordinating events, projects, or operational programmes
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Able to manage several workstreams simultaneously
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe when required
Desirable
- Exposure to technology, developer, or engineering-focused events
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Keynote, Wrike, Quip, Calendar, or Mail
- Experience supporting AV or technical event setups
