One of the UK's largest regional full service Accounting Practices is recruiting for an Employment Tax Senior Manager or Director to lead the existing Employment Tax function, with very tangible progression opportunities to Tax Partner. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise the strength of an existing team, a highly established market presence, and supportive internal Partners where you will define the strategy, shape the future of the team, and grow the service line from a commercial perspective.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and overseeing complex employment tax advisory engagements
  • Advising on high-value matters such as IR35, global mobility, and reward planning
  • Driving forward business development initiatives by winning work from new and existing clients
  • Shaping the strategy and future of the Employment Tax division
  • Being a trusted, go-to subject matter expert for client side contacts, internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing, coaching and leading the Employment Tax team, including hiring as and where required
  • Managing risk and handling/communication with HMRC

Your experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
  • Proven experience at the Senior Manager and/or Director level
  • Track record of business development and leadership of a team/division
  • Collaborative/cross functional approach to working

This position can be located anywhere in the South West of the UK, ideally Exeter, Bristol or Poole. Some travel between offices will be required.
