Principal Consultant | Operations, Middle Office & Trading Support at Morgan McKinley

You will play a critical role in growing Assets under Custodythrough new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships, while also ensuring delivery of high quality post trade services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with custody clients, sub-custodians, and market infrastructure partners to drive business growth.
• Lead business origination efforts by identifying opportunities to expand Assets under Custody.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to tailor custody solutions that meet evolving client needs.
• Act as the key liaison for client inquiries, providing expert advice and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, accurate trade capture, settlement, corporate actions, and client reporting, supporting client retention and trust.
• Manage compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks to protect client assets and the organization’s reputation.
• Support ongoing development and refinement of custody products and services based on client feedback and market trends.
• Provide leadership and development for the custody services team, fostering a client-centric culture.
• Represent the organization as a custody product specialist in client meetings and industry forums.

Key Requirements

• Proven expertise in financial services, consistently delivering results in custody solutions and client relationship management.
• Strong network and ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including Board and Executive levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to influence stakeholders and articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Sound knowledge of risk and control frameworks
• Previous experience in managing or developing custody product strategy
• Professional, driven, and collaborative with a strong commercial mindset
