An established, well-respected and values-driven organisation in Milton Keynes has commenced their search for a Commercial Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The position has become available on the back of an internal promotion. The salary on offer is up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits and the role will be offered on a hybrid basis.

What does the role look like?

The role will oversee month close processes whilst also partnering with key stakeholders across the business. The key duties will include:

  • Partnering with key stakeholders across commercial and operational business units.
  • Supporting bid and tender processes including budgeting and forecasting, pricing and costing.
  • Supporting the monthly close, forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning processes.
  • Leading the review process surrounding margin and pricing, providing leadership with insight to exploit opportunities.
  • Monthly sales analysis including KPI management, variances and review of all promotional activities.
  • Delivery of financial data and insight to key stakeholders, board and group.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to enhance reporting, process and efficiency where possible.
  • Acting with professionalism and demonstrating gravitas to challenge and influence decision-making processes.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis when required.

To be considered for the Commercial Finance Manager Vacancy, applicants must:

  • Be a finalist or qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Be willing to work onsite in Milton Keynes 3-4 days per week.
  • Have demonstrable experience of stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
  • Have exposure to partnering operational and commercial leaders (ideally sales and marketing).
  • Be a strong systems and tech user with strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be highly advantageous although not essential.
