Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project and Timeline Management: Lead projects from planning through execution, focusing on providing reliable trade valuation data for consumers as part of a wider Data program for Markets. Supporting Markets on effective Data Quality governance, issue management, and interim/target state controls. Ensuring successful validation of data deliveries.
- Operational Readiness: Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth transitions, comprehensive training, and operational readiness for any new functionality or process changes.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with stakeholders across Markets, Risk, Finance, and Technology to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project risks, develop and implement effective mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues to senior leadership as needed.
- Testing & Validation: Oversee and manage functional, regression, and user acceptance testing phases to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Closure Management: Ensure thorough project closure, including comprehensive documentation and administrative tasks.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide regular, clear, and concise project updates, status reports, and executive summaries to all relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in project management within a Tier 1 Bank, with a significant background in Data Transformation initiatives.
- Project Methodologies: Proven proficiency and practical experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and align diverse stakeholder groups, including front office, IT, risk, compliance, and finance teams.
- Self-Motivation & Prioritization: A self-starting individual with the ability to multitask effectively and prioritise demanding workloads within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Risk & Issue Management: Demonstrated ability to drive robust risk and issue management practices by working effectively across a global organization.
- Adaptability: Proven capacity to handle complexity, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-changing, often demanding work environment.
