Job Description Interim Head of Finance - Ongoing Assignment We're looking for a qualified, hands-on Interim Head of Finance to join a growing SME on an ongoing interim basis, working closely with key stakeholders and taking ownership of the finance function. This is a role for someone who can hit the ground running, bring strong financial control and commercial insight, and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Lead and maintain strong financial control, including month-end close. Control and monitor the financial plan, including understanding how projects and business decisions impact forecasts. Own financial planning, modelling and forecasting. Monitor performance against plan and provide clear insight to key stakeholders. Liaise with the bank and external stakeholders as required. Act as a proactive problem-solver and trusted finance partner to the business. You'll be a qualified accountant with experience at Financial Controller / Finance Director level, ideally within an SME or entrepreneurial environment. Commercial, hands-on and highly proactive. Strong technically, with a solid understanding of financial control, planning, forecasting and modelling. This would be particularly well suited to an experienced professional contractor who is accustomed to stepping into businesses, making an immediate impact and committing fully to an assignment. Location: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week in the office, with the remainder working from home. **
