We're working with a leading manufacturer in Gloucester, to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. As Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function, playing a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting month-end year-end close processes
  • Preparation of journals, accruals prepayments
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in Management Accounts production
  • Processing invoices, payments expenses
  • Supporting budgeting forecasting activities
  • Assisting with Audit requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
  • AAT 3/4 qualified OR studying towards ACCA or CIMA
