Accounts Senior - Business Services - London/Hybrid

My client, a highly regarded and growing London accountancy firm, is looking for an Accounts Senior to join its Business Services team.

This is a varied, client-facing role working with a broad portfolio of larger to OMBs across a range of sectors, with a strong focus on statutory accounts alongside exposure to management reporting.

The role will include:

  • Preparing statutory accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Preparing management accounts and associated reporting
  • Preparing VAT returns and supporting other accounting compliance requirements
  • Managing work across a varied portfolio of clients
  • Liaising directly with clients and developing strong working relationships
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments
  • Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the team
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Have trained and qualified within an accountancy practice
  • Have strong statutory/year-end accounts preparation experience gained within practice
  • Have exposure to management accounts
  • Be confident communicating directly with clients
  • Have good technical accounting knowledge
  • Be organised and comfortable managing multiple client deadlines
