Are you a Finance Assistant looking for a part time role in Bristol? We are looking to speak with experienced Transactional Finance professionals to work for a local SME in the construction sector for 20 hours per week. The business is well-established and has a great reputation in the Bristol area, having been established for over 35 years. They have some excellent relationships and are known for delivering tailored solutions to their clients.
This role is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with administrative Finance tasks to support the smooth running of the Accounts department.
What will you be doing?
- Raising sales invoices & applications for payments
- Sending Accounts receivable statements to customers
- Dealing with customers invoicing queries
- Preparation of weekly subcontractor payments
- Monthly CIS reconciliation & submission to HMRC
- Entering Purchase invoices
- Reconciling Accounts payable statements
- Bank account reconciliation on Sage
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in transactional finance
- Experience of using accounting software, such as Sage
- Competent in the use of MS Excel
- High attention to detail
- Experience in construction ideal, but not essential.
