Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role that combines end-to-end management accounts with real finance business partnering? This is a broad, hands-on role within a medium to large business, offering ownership of monthly management accounts alongside budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis and systems improvement projects.
Working as part of a small finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will partner closely with operational and senior stakeholders, helping them understand performance, challenge results and support decision-making.
The Role- Full end-to-end preparation of management accounts
- Month end close including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Business partnering with operational teams
- Development of MI and reporting
- Support for year-end audit and ad-hoc projects
- Involvement in systems implementation and improvements
- Proven management accounts experience (essential)
- Background in a medium to large organisation
- Comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
- Systems implementation experience highly desirable
- Ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, but strong QBE candidates will be considered
