Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with an established and highly dynamic business to recruit a commercial minded Accountant who can business partner senior stakeholder, director and the CFO growing a key market for the organisation.

They are keen to recruit a highly skilled accountant who is keen to partner with the Senior Leadership Team to provide support and constructive challenge to drive operational outputs and improve financial performance.

Role

Responsibilities for the Commercial Finance Manager will include:

  • Provide analysis and insight into the operations performance, identify areas of improvement and drive outputs
  • Work in partnership with the operations teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, along with variance reporting.
  • Build and design in depth costing processes
  • Own the month end close
  • Assess cost drivers and their impact on performance

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or in the final stage of their studies
  • Strong communication skills – able to push back AND able to support stakeholders
  • High degree of commercial acumen
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Solid experience across variance analaysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Results orientated, with a desire to succeed
