A leading UK National Accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving business development efforts, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to support the firm's growth objectives across various sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with Partners and senior management to target new clients and markets.
- Lead and support the preparation of high-quality proposals, tenders, and presentations for key clients and prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and stakeholders to enhance the firm's reputation and market presence.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, and provide strategic insights to the leadership team.
- Work alongside the marketing team to create compelling content, campaigns, and collateral to support BD initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage events, webinars, and client-focused initiatives to drive engagement and business development.
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering client-focused strategies and managing business development processes.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the accountancy, legal, or professional services sectors.
- Strong knowledge of BD strategies, including proposal management, tender submissions, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
