Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Collections Officer to work for a company based in the Reading area. The role involves working as part of the collections team. Proven experience in finance, collections, and debt recovery is required.
Salary: up to £38K per annum
Location: Reading, 4 days office based and 1 day from home
Collections Officer duties:
- Monitor and manage the customer accounts
- Chasing customer payments via telephone / email
- Negotiate repayment plans with customers
- Maintain accurate customer records, logging calls / correspondence etc
- Checking overdue accounts and payment information
- Reporting on debtors / collections activity and customer accounts
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience working within a collections or a similar debt recovery financial services support role
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Excel
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
