Overview
Morgan McKinley is looking for an immediately available Management Accountant to work for a fab company based in Brighton, East Sussex. We are looking for an experienced part qualified Management Accountant to join their busy finance team ASAP. The Management Accountant will be carrying out management accounting duties such as month end prep, analysis including P&L, balance sheet, and key journals etc. This is a great varied Management Accountant role to start ASAP and will be working initially on a temp basis with a view to potentially going permanent!
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers
- Month end reporting and preparation of month end management accounts
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Forecasting – update and maintaining cash flow
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Transactional reporting, credit card reconciliations, and expense claims
Skills and experience / Qualifications
- Experience of working in a similar Accountant – Management accountant type role
- Ideally be part qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Good IT skills – MS Excel and accounting systems
