We are looking for an experienced Group Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a growing, fast-paced business at the heart of the fresh produce industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role where you will work closely with the Commercial Director and senior stakeholders across the UK and Portugal to drive profitability, support decision-making, and lead on customer margin analysis and financial planning.
What you will do:
- Be the go-to finance partner for commercial teams across the UK and Portugal
- Deliver insightful customer gross margin reporting and scenario planning
- Support pricing decisions, customer negotiations, and new business opportunities
- Own budgeting and forecasting for trade debtors and gross margins
- Lead and support Operations Finance Business Partners to ensure accurate cost reporting
- Collaborate on key commercial projects and support strategic growth initiatives
What you will bring:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role
- Strong Excel and systems skills (experience with Business Central is a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly and persuasively
- Previous exposure to FMCG, food or agriculture sectors preferred
- A collaborative, confident and proactive approach
- Flexibility to travel regularly (including Portugal)
