About the Role:
We're looking for a confident, outspoken and commercially minded Buyer or Senior Buyer to join a growing procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong supplier relationships, is strategic about purchasing from various suppliers to find the best deal. Depending on your experience, you'll join as either a Buyer or Senior Buyer, with opportunities to lead strategic sourcing initiatives. Ideally, we are looking for grey market experience selling physical products.
Buyer Responsibilities:
- Negotiating agreements / terms with suppliers that provide value for money, maximising credit terms and are commercially viable and optimised with the business
- Working with the wider Purchasing Team, Logistics Team to manage incoming stock efficiently
- Working with the sales team to receive latest information on market selling prices and ensuring the sales price on our stocks is maximised
- Providing Information of incoming stock for operations and commercial teams to encourage pre selling
- Spotting opportunities for replenishment on bestselling lines
Buyer will have / be:
- Grey market experience (desirable)
- At least 3 years of buying experience
- Experience selling physical product (mandatory)
- Outspoken & confident
