Ready to take ownership of a critical finance function where your expertise can make a real difference? We're looking for a commercially minded Banking & Treasury Manager to lead a team of three and take charge of cash management, treasury controls and liquidity across a complex organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving how things are done and providing the financial insight that helps a business make better decisions. What will you be doing? Own the cash position: Deliver accurate daily and weekly cash reporting, short-term forecasting and insightful monthly cash flow analysis. Lead and develop: Manage a team of three, setting clear standards and driving performance across banking and treasury operations. Optimise liquidity: Identify opportunities to improve cash management, working capital and the use of surplus funds. Strengthen controls: Maintain robust bank reconciliations, treasury governance and controls that protect the organisation's assets. Drive improvement: Challenge existing processes, champion automation and introduce smarter, more efficient ways of working. Build relationships: Manage banking partners and work closely with Finance, Operations and senior stakeholders. Shape treasury policy: Help develop and maintain policies covering cash movements, approvals, liquidity and risk. What are we looking for? You'll bring strong experience across cash management, treasury or banking operations, with a solid understanding of liquidity planning and short-term cash forecasting. You'll also have: Experience managing bank reconciliations across multiple entities or a large operation. A track record of improving processes, controls and reporting. Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn numbers into meaningful commercial insight. Experience managing people and working with senior stakeholders. A proactive, pragmatic approach and the confidence to challenge the status quo. A relevant accounting or treasury qualification would be advantageous, as would experience within the pensions sector. Why make your next move? This isn't simply about keeping the numbers straight. It's about taking ownership of a vital function, developing your team and making a tangible impact on how cash and treasury are managed. If you're someone who combines technical strength with commercial thinking, enjoys making things better and wants a role with genuine responsibility, let's talk. 📩 Interested?
