We are working with a growing PE Backed business in Crawley to help find them an International Financial Accountant. This newly created opportunity invites an ambitious International Financial Accountant to steer the financial operations of multiple overseas entities. You'll be the connective thread linking teams across continents, ensuring financial clarity, compliance, and consistency on a truly international stage.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports
- Own compliance across international tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory filings
- Ensure alignment with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements
- Partner with external auditors and international service providers
- Reconcile local statutory accounts to US GAAP
- Support company secretarial activities and maintain governance standards
- Liaise regularly with global offices and third-party finance teams
- Oversee payroll processes for international entities
- Contribute to a variety of finance projects for the International Finance Director
What you’ll bring
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- A professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) or the desire to complete one
- 3-5 years' accounting experience with exposure to international finances
- Strong grounding in IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Experience with intercompany and multi-currency transactions
- Excellent Excel skills and comfort with modern finance systems
- Confidence communicating with teams across borders
- A calm, analytical mindset with a steady hand under deadlines
- Flexibility to travel internationally when required
