Morgan McKinley is working with an SME type business based in Brighton. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will carry out everyday transactional accounting, supporting with month-end, accruals, accounts payable invoicing, supplier setup and reconciliations.

Location: Brighton, East Sussex - hybrid working - 3 days office
Accounts Assistant duties:- Processing invoices
- Preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers
- Bank account and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Supporting with month end and audits
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Proven experience working in a similar Finance Assistant - Accounts Assistant role within an SME environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills - MS Excel and accounting systems such as; Xero
