Hours: 8-5 Mon-Fri

Duration: Start ASAP - initially until end of October

Location: Onsite, Billingshurst, West Sussex

Workshop Assistant duties:

  • Performing heavy lifting as required
  • Operating workshop machinery such as beam saws, CNC drills, and CNC edgebanders
  • Carrying out general maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Managing workloads and responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader
  • Understanding job-specific requirements and ensuring tasks are completed accurately
  • Reporting any faults, issues, or discrepancies with production or on the workshop floor to your supervisor

Skills and experience:

  • Ideally have worked in an Engineering, Workshop or Manufacturing environment, lifting, shifting, processing goods etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills
