Morgan Mace has been retained as an executive search advisor to appoint a Managing Director & Group CFO for a focused, high-growth international CPG holding company with a portfolio of scaled health, beauty, supplements, wellness and e-commerce brands. Primary market: United States. This is a rare opportunity to build the holding-company layer behind a profitable, Amazon- and DTC-led portfolio with clear ambition to create a small number of serious consumer brands with $1B+ enterprise-value potential. The role sits above strong operating GMs and reports directly to the Beneficial Owner.
The Mandate
You will instil financial discipline, decision quality and management cadence across the Group. You will own portfolio-level P&L accountability, capital allocation, board materials, data rooms, incentive architecture and GM scorecards — turning vision into measurable, underwritten execution without slowing the businesses down. This is not a traditional CFO seat, nor a passive holding role. It is a CEO/CFO or COO/CFO mandate for an operating-finance leader who runs the holding layer through numbers while staying close enough to Amazon economics, contribution margins, working capital and channel profitability to challenge weak thinking and protect enterprise value.
What Success Looks Like
Within 12 months the Group will have clear financial cadence, signed annual plans and 3-year models for every major asset, standardised data rooms, disciplined capital-allocation processes, and GMs who operate with greater clarity, autonomy and accountability. The founder remains central for vision and category judgement; you make that direction executable, measurable and documented.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a seasoned operating CFO, COO/CFO, Group/Portfolio CFO, Managing Director or President who has:
- Operated at or above ~$100m revenue scale in US-focused CPG (health, beauty, supplements, wellness or adjacent)
- Deep e-commerce fluency (Amazon, DTC, TikTok Shop, paid media, CAC/LTV, contribution margin, inventory)
- Genuine P&L ownership, FP&A strength and experience building board packs, decision memos and data rooms
- Proven ability to manage senior GMs or business-unit leaders and work closely with a strong founder/owner
Location & Package
Full-time residence in Cyprus is required after hire. Ideal candidates will currently be based in the UK or Western Europe and be willing to relocate. A competitive total compensation package of £260,000–£300,000 (depending on experience) is offered, together with a full relocation package.
