Finance Systems Accountant (Sage Intacct) 12 month FTC Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office £65,000 - £70,000paAn established UK charity is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to take ownership of the ongoing development, upgrades and optimisation of its Sage Intacct finance system. This role will focus on post-implementation improvements, working closely with Finance, IT and external system partners to identify opportunities to enhance the system, improve processes, strengthen controls and maximise the functionality of Sage Intacct. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage post-implementation upgrades and enhancements to Sage Intacct Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, system functionality and reporting Manage system changes from requirements gathering and design through to testing and implementation Lead UAT, testing, data validation and issue resolution Configure and enhance finance processes within Sage Intacct Review and improve GL, AP/AR, reporting, controls and finance workflows Work with external Sage Intacct partners and internal stakeholders to deliver system improvements Develop and maintain process documentation, system documentation and user guidance Support finance users with system queries, troubleshooting and training Ensure system changes are properly controlled, tested and documented Support wider finance transformation and continuous improvement initiativesAbout You Strong experience as a Finance Systems Accountant / Systems Accountant Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, particularly post-implementation upgrades and enhancements Proven track record of improving and optimising finance systems after implementation Strong understanding of core finance processes and accounting controls Experienced in UAT, testing, data migration/validation and system change Comfortable working with external system providers and internal Finance/IT stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills Previous experience within the charity sector
