I am currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within the children's and education service to work within local government. The role will be for 6 months at least and will be paying up to £500 p/day.
Job Specification
- Guiding managers through Budgeting & Planning
- Applying knowledge of financial procedures/processes to identify issues in these areas and know the correct route to resolve issues
- Calculate/reconcile staff budgets back to establishments
- Preparation of DMT reports
- Knowledge of SEN and High needs is desirable
- Monitor relevant grants, ensure accounting is correct and Oracle related queries
- Preparation of Budget virements
- Ensuring monthly recharge journals are correct and loaded monthly
- Set up new cost centres, distribution sets, memo lines in Oracle
- Manage/assist annual budget load exercise
