A Council in Greater London are seeking a Power Platform Developer on an interim basis to provide expert technical leadership in the design, build and continual improvement of Microsoft Platform services. These will consolidate Finance, HR, Contracts, Risk and Service-performance data into intuitive Power Apps and analytical dashboards, enabling decision-makers across the Council to access timely insight, drive efficiency and evidence outcomes.
They need to develop a management suite of information to identify and inform transformation opportunities and budget interrogation. Transformation priorities include:
- Process efficiencies
- Customer contact and channel shift
- Contract management and compliance
- Spend control and analysis
- HR intelligence and controls
- Risk and change management
- Income analysis and costing of traded services
The role is hybrid, with 2 days on site required.
Responsibilities include:
- Shape and maintain the technical roadmap for Service Packs in line with the Council's Digital Strategy and M365 optimisation plan.
- Champion best practice, accessibility and user-centred design across Digital & Customer Solutions to standards defined by the team.
- Configure role-based security, data loss prevention (DLP) policies and automated tests; manage DevOps release pipelines.
- Continually review procedures, automate manual processes and exploit new Power Co-Pilot and AI Builder to maximise value.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
- Hands-on integration with Integra (finance), Axiom (budget management), Northgate/Zellis (HR and payroll) or similar finance/HR systems via REST or OData APIs.
- Proficiency in Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET C#, T-SQL, DAX and JSON.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management and DevOps pipelines.
