We're looking for an experienced Finance Systems Lead to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a new OneAdvance Financials system, supporting the migration from Agresso for one of our Local Authority clients.
This is a key leadership position within a major transformation programme, offering the opportunity to shape the organisation's future financial systems and processes.
About the Role
- Provide day-to-day project leadership across all finance workstreams
- Coordinate and manage a team of finance service specialists
- Act as the business-facing lead, ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders
- Oversee and guide the project Accountant, offering expertise in Local Authority best practice
- Ensure system design, chart structures, processes and controls align with operational and statutory requirements
- Drive integration across all functional areas to ensure there are no gaps between workstreams
What Our Client is Looking For
- Experience delivering finance system implementations in a Local Authority OR strong local-authority finance experience paired with system-implementation experience in another sector
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting and local government processes
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and ensure delivery
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the project confidently at all levels
- Hands-on approach with the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions
