We are recruiting for an Interim HR Advisor to join our non-profit client based in South London. Your role will involve delivering expert HR advice and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, maintaining detailed information on staff conditions of service, and interpreting and advising on statutory procedures. Staying current with changes in legislation and policy is crucial, as is providing accurate guidance on our HR policies.

You will advise on all aspects of HR across the organisation including:

  • Contributing to the creation and updating of HR policies
  • Assisting in investigating HR procedures such as grievances and disciplinaries
  • Offering professional advice on recruitment and selection

Other aspects of your role include:

  • Ensuring thorough pre-employment checks for new staff
  • Administering payroll-related tasks
  • Drafting complex correspondence
  • Handling enquiries from various stakeholders
  • Devising and delivering training for support staff
  • Undertaking project work as needed

We are seeking candidates with proven experience in HR advisory roles. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in delivering training and professional development would be beneficial. This role is office based with expensed travel to other sites across London – regular WFH is not available.
