Morgan Law is delighted to be supporting the Royal British Legion (RBL) recruit their new Head of Estates. Responsible for managing a team of five Regional Property Managers, you will lead the development and delivery of RBL's Estates strategy across the UK, ensuring the property portfolio supports organisational objectives, maximises asset value and is managed in line with regulatory and operational requirements Key Responsibilities include: Oversee all property transactions, including disposals, acquisitions, lease renewals and rent reviews across the operational, branch and investment portfolios. (including over 300 clubs nationally) Identify opportunities to enhance the value to RBL's assets while being held or when disposed of. Including planning gain, joint ventures, site assembly and other development activity. Develop innovative ideas and provide strategic estates advice to the Director of Property, Senior Managers and the Board of Trustees. Oversee the ongoing refurbishment of the national portfolio of properties including RBL's clubs and operational buildings. Draft or approve property papers for submission to the Board of Trustees, Executive Board and Senior Management. Support the development and implementation of property management policies and procedures. Lead and support the five Regional Property Managers deputise for the Director of Property when required. Collaborate with Head of Facilities Management deliver a funded planned maintenance programme for the operational portfolio.Person Specification: We are specifically looking for applications from RICS Members. Who have experience of leading Estates/Property departments within a complex organisation. A track record overseeing a diverse property portfolio (either in terms of volume or geographically). With strong management and influencing skills. Full UK driving licenceThis role is Home based with travel required to sites across the UK
