Role Purpose
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chair and Chief Executive provides high-level, professional executive support, ensuring the effective coordination, planning, and delivery of activities. Working as an integral member of the Chief Executive's Office, the postholder ensures the smooth running of all aspects of executive administration and governance. The EA acts as a trusted liaison between the Chair, Chief Executive, the Board, and senior stakeholders, supporting strategic priorities and enabling the effective operation of the organisation's leadership and governance structures.
Experience and skills
- Substantial experience providing executive-level administrative support within a large complex multicultural organisation.
- Experience of supporting Board Chairs, Chief Executives, Board members, or senior leaders in a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
- Experience of governance, strategy, and organisational planning within public sector organisations.
- Strong understanding of governance and organisational operations within the public or cultural sector.
- Experience of managing highly confidential information and correspondence with discretion and judgement.
- Experience of leading and managing high performing teams.
- Experience of creating and maintaining high performance business support functions in large organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver administrative projects to a high standard.
What we offer
