We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Employee Relations Manager to support an Essex based team for 6 months. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, where you will lead on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of ER Advisors
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management.
  • Lead and manage cases that progress to employment tribunals
  • Partner with managers and senior leaders to build capability in handling ER matters effectively.
  • Support on TUPE projects
About You

To be considered you MUST have:

  • Proven experience in managing employee relations within the public sector, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and frameworks.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing cases through to employment tribunal hearings.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Strong leadership
  • TUPE experience

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days being on site in Essex.
