Morgan Law are seeking an experienced HR Manager for a Local Government client in East Anglia. With reorganisation and the move to new unitary councils in 2028, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to play a key role during a significant period of organisational change.
You will lead a broad range of operational and advisory HR activity, overseeing payroll, learning and development, and the HR administration team. You will also work closely with the Employee Relations Manager to support and advise on a range of employee relations matters.
- Oversee HR processes, documentation and compliance and act as an escalation point for the HR administration team, providing guidance and support as required.
- Work alongside the Employee Relations Manager to advise on and support more complex employee relations matters.
- Provide clear and expert advice on HR matters and employment law to managers and employees.
- Oversee key HR operational areas including payroll and learning and development.
- Oversee wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
You will be an experienced HR Manager who can hit the ground running, with strong generalist knowledge, a confident and credible approach, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the organisation. You will also be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and confident using HR systems.
