Systems Implementation Project Lead

I am currently working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Systems Implementation Project Lead to support a major finance systems replacement programme.
The successful candidate will lead the transition from OneAdvanced eFinancials V6 to TechnologyOne, working across programme management, implementation oversight, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, data migration, testing, business change and successful system deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a major finance systems implementation programme.
- Manage the migration from OneAdvanced eFinancials V6 to TechnologyOne.
- Oversee project governance, planning, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Manage supplier relationships and implementation partners.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across finance, ICT and operational services.
- Coordinate data migration, testing, training and go-live activities.
- Drive business change and user adoption across the organisation.
- Ensure programme objectives, timescales and benefits are achieved.
Essential Experience
- Proven track record delivering ERP or finance system implementations within the public sector.
- Strong local government experience.
- Experience leading complex finance systems migrations and transformation programmes.
- Demonstrable programme and project management capability.
- Experience managing suppliers, stakeholders and business change initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance system processes and controls.
Desirable Experience
- Hands-on experience implementing TechnologyOne.
- Experience working with OneAdvanced eFinancials or Advanced eFinancials.
- Knowledge of local authority finance operations and reporting requirements.
