We are a reputable Legal 500 firm seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our busy private client department. The firm works with a wide range of both individual and commercial clients, and has offices based in Swansea and Carmarthen.
The Role: As a private client paralegal, your role will involve supporting the Administration of Estates and Lifetime Estate Planning team. You will be assisting the fee earners of the department and the work will include:
- Meeting with new clients.
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Assisting with obtaining deputyship orders and the day-to-day management of property and financial affairs.
- Assisting with Grants of Representation, post grant administration, and distribution of the estates.
- Assisting with Personal Estate Planning.
- Assisting with the preparation and administration of Trusts.
- Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries and other third parties and stakeholders.
- Supporting fee earners in the department with their caseload.
In addition to being academically strong, applicants must be team players, have good organisational and IT skills and a keen eye for detail. All positions are subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
