About the Role

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join our Accounts team in Swansea. This role is suited to both experienced Legal Cashiers and individuals at the start of their career who are eager to learn and develop within legal finance. As a key member of the team, you will support our lawyers and ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules. The successful candidate will be highly organised, numerate, and demonstrate a genuine interest in accounting and finance.

Experience

We welcome applications from both experienced Legal Cashiers and junior or entry-level candidates. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

About You

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a positive and proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting or finance, with either relevant experience in a legal finance role or a willingness to learn and develop in the position. Applicants should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, good IT skills, strong organisational abilities, and the confidence to prioritise workload effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing client and office account transactions in line with SRA Accounts Rules
  • Posting and allocating receipts and payments
  • Managing electronic payments
  • Supporting fee earners with financial queries
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers

Full training will be provided, with responsibilities expanding as your experience and confidence grow.
