An established and highly respected passive fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Stopping Inspector / Surveyor to join its growing team covering Southampton and the wider Hampshire region. The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out fire stopping inspections and surveys across a variety of live and completed projects, ensuring all works meet current fire safety regulations and compliance standards. Key duties include:
- Carrying out detailed fire stopping inspections and surveys
- Identifying defects, non‑compliance, and remedial requirements
- Producing clear and accurate survey reports
- Recording findings using digital reporting systems
- Liaising with site teams, contractors, and clients
- Ensuring all work complies with current passive fire regulations and industry standards
- Supporting quality assurance and compliance processes
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fire Stopping Inspector, Surveyor, or in a similar passive fire role
- Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and compartmentation
- Experience producing detailed inspection reports

- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
