Morgan King Construction are currently looking for experienced Fire Door Installers to start work on a residential project in Peterborough. The role will involve installing new, fully compliant fire door sets in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and current fire safety standards.
Rate: £27.50 per hour
Duties will include:
- Installing new FD30 and FD60 fire door sets to specification
- Ensuring all gaps meet current standards (typically 3mm)
- Fitting intumescent and smoke seals
- Installing fire door signage and drop-down seals
- Hanging doors, fitting hinges, handles, and closers
- Ensuring all installations comply with fire door certification and manufacturer’s installation guides
- Conducting finishing and fire-stopping works where required
All applicants MUST have:
- Proven Fire Door Installation experience
- CSCS Card (Blue or Gold)
- Own tools and PPE
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of fire door compliance standards
- Logging work on apps such as One Trace / Bolster
