Our client is currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support ongoing domestic and commercial projects across the Edinburgh and Glasgow region. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented professional looking for consistent, ongoing work with competitive day rates and flexibility to suit your availability. We can accommodate varying schedules; however, 5-day availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition asbestos surveys
- Undertake sampling and accurate site data collection
- Produce clear, comprehensive survey reports
- Ensure full compliance with HSG264 and current UK asbestos regulations
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
- BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
- Experience in both domestic and commercial environments
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
