We are currently looking for an experienced AOV Engineer to start on a project in Glasgow.

Duties Include:

  • Installation and maintenance of AOV systems
  • Fault finding and testing
  • Working with control panels, cabling, and associated systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements

An AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) engineer works on smoke ventilation systems used in buildings for fire safety. The job typically involves:

  • Installing AOV control panels
  • Wiring and commissioning actuators, vents, and detectors
  • Fault finding on smoke ventilation systems
  • Testing and maintenance
  • Reading fire/smoke control drawings
  • Working with BMS and fire alarm interfaces

Requirements:

  • Previous AOV engineering experience
  • Relevant ECS/CSCS card preferred
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
