We are currently looking for an experienced AOV Engineer to start on a project in Glasgow.
Duties Include:
- Installation and maintenance of AOV systems
- Fault finding and testing
- Working with control panels, cabling, and associated systems
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements
An AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) engineer works on smoke ventilation systems used in buildings for fire safety. The job typically involves:
- Installing AOV control panels
- Wiring and commissioning actuators, vents, and detectors
- Fault finding on smoke ventilation systems
- Testing and maintenance
- Reading fire/smoke control drawings
- Working with BMS and fire alarm interfaces
Requirements:
- Previous AOV engineering experience
- Relevant ECS/CSCS card preferred
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
