πππ ππππ β ππππππππ πππππππ β πππππ πππππ₯π₯ As an Asbestos Auditor, you will ensure that technical site-based staff are working in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2012), Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). πππ² πππ¬π©π¨π§π¬π’ππ’π₯π’ππ’ππ¬ β‘οΈConducting site competency and training audits β‘οΈUpdating staff training records and the Authorisations Matrix as required β‘οΈCompleting blind survey QC re-inspections and 4SC re-inspections on a rolling 12-month basis β‘οΈAssisting with new starter inductions under direction of the Technical Manager β‘οΈAssessing staff in line with UKAS requirements, HSE guidance, and SOPs β‘οΈCommunicating procedural changes at a local level ππ¨π«π ππ€π’π₯π₯π¬ & ππ±π©ππ«π’ππ§ππ β‘οΈMinimum 5 yearsβ asbestos industry experience within a UKAS accredited environment β‘οΈFamiliarity with Quality Management Systems to ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 standards β‘οΈBOHS P402, P403 and P404 (P401 desirable but not essential) β‘οΈKnowledge of HSE Guidance (e.g. HSG 248, HSG 264) and UKAS documents (e.g. Lab30) β‘οΈAbility to work independently and adapt to variable site requirements β‘οΈWillingness to travel as needed β‘οΈIntegrity and confidence to raise and communicate issues clearly β‘οΈExperience working in a commercially driven environment ππ‘π πππππ« This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and best practice within the asbestos sector.
