𝐍𝐄𝐖 π‘πŽπ‹π„ – π€π’ππ„π’π“πŽπ’ π€π”πƒπˆπ“πŽπ‘ – ππŽπ‘π“π‡ 𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ As an Asbestos Auditor, you will ensure that technical site-based staff are working in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2012), Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 𝐊𝐞𝐲 π‘πžπ¬π©π¨π§π¬π’π›π’π₯𝐒𝐭𝐒𝐞𝐬 ➑️Conducting site competency and training audits ➑️Updating staff training records and the Authorisations Matrix as required ➑️Completing blind survey QC re-inspections and 4SC re-inspections on a rolling 12-month basis ➑️Assisting with new starter inductions under direction of the Technical Manager ➑️Assessing staff in line with UKAS requirements, HSE guidance, and SOPs ➑️Communicating procedural changes at a local level π‚π¨π«πž 𝐒𝐀𝐒π₯π₯𝐬 & π„π±π©πžπ«π’πžπ§πœπž ➑️Minimum 5 years’ asbestos industry experience within a UKAS accredited environment ➑️Familiarity with Quality Management Systems to ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 standards ➑️BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (P401 desirable but not essential) ➑️Knowledge of HSE Guidance (e.g. HSG 248, HSG 264) and UKAS documents (e.g. Lab30) ➑️Ability to work independently and adapt to variable site requirements ➑️Willingness to travel as needed ➑️Integrity and confidence to raise and communicate issues clearly ➑️Experience working in a commercially driven environment π“π‘πž 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and best practice within the asbestos sector.
