Morgan King are representing a well established electrical company based in West Yorkshire who are seeking a skilled and reliable, motivated and driven Electrician with hands-on site experience. Will be working on all commercial and industrial projects. This is a great opportunity to join a company with serious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- All types of commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Installation of LV Cabling, EV Charging, All containment and wiring types, Testing and Inspection and switch room fit outs etc
- General day to day handling of site, dealing with drawings, ordering materials, testing.
- Test and fix electrical systems.
- Install and replace distribution boards, wiring, and fixtures
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Complete risk assessments and project documentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional conduct on-site
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – Required
- ECS Gold Card – Required
- IPAF - Desirable
- SSSTS or SMSTS - Desirable
- City & Guilds 18th Edition (or equivalent) - desirable
- Inspection & Testing 23912-55 – Desirable
- Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical work
- EV Charging / Solar qualifications - Desirable
- Asbestos Awareness - Desirable
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
