Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000, negotiable dependant on experience

Location: West Yorkshire based - Leeds, Wakefield - UK Wide Work

Morgan King are representing a well established electrical company based in West Yorkshire who are seeking a skilled and reliable, motivated and driven Electrician with hands-on site experience. Will be working on all commercial and industrial projects. This is a great opportunity to join a company with serious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • All types of commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Installation of LV Cabling, EV Charging, All containment and wiring types, Testing and Inspection and switch room fit outs etc
  • General day to day handling of site, dealing with drawings, ordering materials, testing.
  • Test and fix electrical systems.
  • Install and replace distribution boards, wiring, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Complete risk assessments and project documentation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional conduct on-site
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Skills & Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – Required
  • ECS Gold Card – Required
  • IPAF - Desirable
  • SSSTS or SMSTS - Desirable
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition (or equivalent) - desirable
  • Inspection & Testing 23912-55 – Desirable
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical work
  • EV Charging / Solar qualifications - Desirable
  • Asbestos Awareness - Desirable
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
