Lecturer in Engineering (Fabrication & Welding) Location: WorksopSalary: Up to Β£36,413 per annumContract: Temporary for 3 MonthsHours: Full Time, 37 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Fabrication & Welding programmes in line with curriculum requirements.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons and practical learning activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic and pastoral support.
- Prepare learners for progression into employment, apprenticeships, or higher-level study.
- Set and review learner targets through electronic individual learning programmes (eILPs).
- Support work experience and employability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate learner records, enrolments, registrations, and examination claims.
- Ensure all teaching activities meet awarding body and organisational standards.
- Undertake associated administrative duties as required.

- Previous experience within Fabrication and/or Welding.
- Level 1-3 Trade Qualifications or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- A professional, proactive approach with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to quickly adapt and contribute within an established team.
