About the Opportunity

We are working with a well-established Further Education and Skills provider seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Tutor – Electrical to join their growing apprenticeship team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of Electrical apprentices and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to Electrical apprentices.
  • Support apprentices in achieving their apprenticeship standards and qualifications.
  • Conduct workplace reviews and maintain regular employer engagement.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate support to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ensure all assessment and tracking documentation is completed accurately and compliantly.
  • Work collaboratively with employers to ensure apprentices develop the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant industry experience within the Electrical sector
  • Assessor Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting, assessing or mentoring learners/apprentices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
