Location: Sidcup | Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 | Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product specifications and customer platforms
- Maintain temporary spec trackers and due diligence systems
- Investigate complaints and non‑conformances, driving resolution
- Support QC and deputise in absence of Quality Manager
- Conduct supplier and third‑party packing site visits
- Maintain technical documentation and approve labelling
- Lead internal audits and ensure GMP compliance
- Manage policy and procedure updates for food safety and quality
- Lead HACCP team and support BRCGS and Red Tractor standards
- Deliver training, maintain records, and lead SMM reporting
- Host external audits (BRCGS, RT, LEAF)
- Drive food safety culture across the site
Requirements
- Fresh produce experience essential (fruit & veg)
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP Level 3, QMS
- Experience with retail customers and specifications
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- IT proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Full UK driving licence required
- Spanish language skills desirable
