The Role

Working within a close-knit workshop team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of specialist components using fibreglass materials. The role is hands-on and requires precision, accuracy, and strong practical problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately
  • Assembling and bolting components (non-welding environment)
  • Working from drawings and measurements
  • Handling and manoeuvring heavier materials safely
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency

About You

We're looking for someone with a solid practical background who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in producing accurate work.

Essential:

  • 1-3 years' workshop or site-based experience
  • Strong numerical and measuring skills
  • Practical mindset with good problem-solving ability
  • Physically capable of manual handling
  • Willingness to learn specialist fabrication techniques

Highly Desirable:

  • Carpentry background (particularly suited to this environment)
  • Experience with fibreglass
  • General fabrication or workshop experience
  • Experience working in small teams

Please note: This role is not suited to candidates seeking welding-focused metalwork positions.
