Our client is seeking an experienced Professional Chef with strong Front-of-House knowledge to join their Catering & Hospitality team. This role combines teaching excellence with commercial innovation, supporting the college’s training restaurant and events service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, practical and theoretical sessions in professional cookery
- Mentor students and support progress towards qualifications and employability
- Contribute to menu planning, costing, and delivery for curriculum and commercial events
- Collaborate with FOH Lecturer to ensure seamless restaurant and event operations
- Promote customer service awareness within kitchen training
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Professional Chef in a commercial hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of FOH operations and customer service principles
- Relevant vocational qualification (minimum Level 3) in culinary/hospitality
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS within the last three years required
