The Role: As a Robotic Welder Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of robotic welding cells, supporting production targets and maintaining high quality standards. Full training can be provided for candidates with welding experience who are looking to develop robotic programming skills.
- Operate robotic welding cells safely and efficiently.
- Set fixtures and load welding programs.
- Monitor production progress and communicate updates to the Team Leader.
- Identify welding defects and quality issues.
- Carry out weld touch‑ups where required.
- Support basic robotic programming and troubleshooting activities.
- Complete daily and weekly machine maintenance checks.
- Contribute ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure quality and production targets are achieved.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
