A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client’s fast‑paced supply chain operation on a 6‑month assignment, with the potential for extension. Based in Peterborough, this role offers an initial onsite training period (approx. 3 weeks), followed by a hybrid model (3 days onsite).

Role overview:
You will support the First Fit Planning team as an Expeditor, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Key responsibilities:
- Validate shipment plans with suppliers
- Maintain a 5‑day rolling shipment schedule
- Manage inbound purchase orders and track deliveries
- Support daily and weekly review meetings
- Assist with supplier performance and lead time improvements
- Reconcile order boards for critical suppliers and parts
- Provide updates on inventory and backorder recovery
- Support excess inventory and demand balancing activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards
What we’re looking for:
- 1–4 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain or similar
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
